Giovanni E. Spinelli is the Managing Partner of Bartko Pavia LLP’s New York office and is the Chair of the Corporate Practice. Known for his deep knowledge of the issues and specific needs of his Italian and other European clients, Mr. Spinelli’s practice focuses on general corporate and commercial transactions, and includes international mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance and regulatory compliance, finance, distribution and licensing. He counsels foreign companies in establishing and developing their presence in the United States and regularly advises several high-profile clients in the luxury goods industry. Mr. Spinelli is a frequent speaker before professional organizations and academic institutions on topics related to the U.S. legal system and the challenges and opportunities of doing business in the U.S. He has led seminars for international audiences, including at prestigious universities such as Bocconi University and LUISS in Italy.
